The Federal Nuragic Sanctuary of Santa Vittoria, situated in a natural interest habitats, dominated by giara the surrounding area, from which you can look back at the varied landscapes of the Sarcidano Trexenta Marmilla.

The archaeological complex, about 670 meters above sea level, extends on the southern slope of the basaltic plateau. The area was frequented from the earliest stages of the Nuragic Civilization in 1500 BC From the late Bronze Age to the early Iron Age (1100-900 / 800 BC), this place has become one of the most interesting expressions of nuragic religiosity: it is possible that the divinities of the Nuraghic pantheon, worshiped in the various temples of the sanctuary, acted as guarantors for commercial, cultural and ideological exchanges between the people of the island and beyond. The sacredness of the place persisted even in the Christian age, with the construction of the small church of probable Byzantine structure, dedicated to S. Vittoria or S. Maria della Vittoria; the saint that gives the site its name is venerated every September 11 with masses, pilgrimages, parties.

The archaeological park can be visited 365 days a year from 09.00 to dusk.
